I need permission to include your vids in my Vidcast

Post by t9999clint » Wed Nov 07, 2007 12:43 am

Ok I'm starting a Vidcast (online TV Show) and I have a AMV Segment that needs some clips. And I'm gonna do a AMV review segment. but for this I need vids... post away. By posting here I am assuming you are giving me permission to not only include it in my vid but also to put your vids on my site where they can be downloaded and commented on.

I just figured this'd be the best site for this.

Ohh and Hi I'm new. how are ya'll.

With an illegal sig, to boot.

If I didn't have an extremely urgent desire to poop I'd post something witty.

Umm it's the first ep so there's nothing really done yet, besides my forum, So there's nothing really definite yet. I watch more AMV's than I make so I consider myself a bit of a cheap critique. The show is about the Otaku of every kind not just the popular types portrayed by Japanese culture. (but we will start with the popular ones for the first few episodes).

The site url was on my banner hence why it was removed I presume.

but it's killerotakurobots.com. I haven't read the fourm rules yet (I read the main sites two years ago though ;P) so I'm gonna try and be carefull not to spam my site name around.

there I read the rules and am now smarter for doing so. The sig does not violate any of these terms as far as I am concerned. I apologize for not checking sooner and I thank the mods for there quick action.

It's fine if you use any of my work with a few exceptions.

Number One: You do not remove any credits or alter my video content
Number Two: You give me FULL credit for my videos.
Number Three: You CANNOT use any of my MEP's (projects with more than one collaborator)
Number Four: I want to be informed of any and all sites where my videos are via pm.

This is the internet. No one has control of where their work gets shown after it ends up on the internet. Most of us aren't stupid enough to even try. If you want to interpret that as permission then feel free.

No but it feels good to ask. I have a little workshop every year where I teach 8th-graders how to not get lost in Adobe Premiere at my old school, and I always show one or two videos from people here and elsewhere on the net - but I ask the creators for permission, and if any one of them ever denies me, I'll tell them to shove it and find a better video in under five seconds ;)

That applies to mine as well, although why you'd want them is beyond me.
