He lives in Houston. Let's start the space related jokes. It really would be appropriate.

Software running on these puppies are CS3 master collection for the two MBPs and the PB has all my media content. Cool thing about this setup is that I could control it from my iPhone when I'm a away from the "rig." I take the other MBP on the road as well the Cintiq. I bet you guys would hate it to have this rig along with the electric bill to run this little setup.

Sithlord, that may very well be the most expansive home setup i've ever seen. :-o

Now comes the jealousy....

Screw the electricity. I'd just steal it to stare at it.

Thanks for all the compliments!

When it comes down to it, it's really the content and not the gear. A better guitar does not make a better guitarist. So, what I have to say to all those who are envious is that I was in the same shoes. It's all about the content being produced that I was able to acquire the tools needed to make a productive environment.

Plus, I didn't mean to derail the thread and judging from the AMV content from members here, it seems they're a better guitarist than the instrument they play on. And certainly that will pay off in the end. I wonder if some of you have any experience or work in video production or motion graphics?

No experience that I'm aware of, but it indeed fascinates me and when I get remotely comfortable with After Effects (I went through a whole course book and still feel like there's a crap load more to learn), I'd like to peek into motion graphics somewhat.

For the sake of pulling things back on track, I'll follow him. Not that I quite compare to him, but I'll do what I can. :P

Here's the last piece of the setup. Once I get a long enough cable, I'll make the TV a monitor as well. :P

It can get sooo freaking hot in that corner. =\
