My noob laptop setup for now...

Apologies for terrible lighting. That lamp in the corner isn't plugged in anywhere, as the only socket that is not being used some piece of hardware is taken by my heater (heater>lamp in winter)
The dark thing in the bottom left corner is a gamepad and the footage I'm currently working with. And my mouse mat is a tea tray

TOTALLY how I got started. It wasn't AMVs, it was VHS tapes of The Simpsons and Weird Al CDs, but that was how I got it all started. When I was like 'Wait, I can put video into a COMPUTER and EDIT IT? Mom, I need this 'ATi All-In-Wonder' thing!'.

Now I'm a bit more extreme...

Six core Intel CPU of joy... And it was only $179. :D

Vlad

i don't think i'd even be able to edit or concentrate on anything in that space. Fuckin' pink acid trip of DOOM room. but that's just me...i prefer plain surroundings <.<

ill take a pic of my workspace here when I'm in less of a depression and clean up a little around here. Right now im just letting shit pile up and pile up and i dont give a care...

Specs:

CPU: Intel i5 - 4670K Haswell 3.4GHz Quad Core

Ram disk mostly but it's also great when working with large files, less caching.
