The panels themselves are LG as LG is the only company to make these 27" IPS WQHD panels... They go in things branded by Apple (Cinema Display), HP, Dell, LG, etc. These casings are by a South Korean reseller via eBay. $335 each (with free 2 day shipping) instead of the $900-$1000 they charge for them state-side. A few tech websites (like Anandtech) did some tests and they spec the same or better as those ones. I'm really happy with how they look.

Yup, that's what I thought they were. I got my 23" (actually branded as LG) for about half of the price of the 27", and at the time I consider buying two of them... But I actually like purchasing in stores/electronics markets/etc and the place I went in Fukuoka didn't have the 27" versions in stock.
