People will always be like that. There's far too much bullshit in the world for anybody to accept everything at first glance without being a fool. You can't expect everybody to believe you, especially on a message board. Yes, he wronged you, yes he called BS on things you didn't even say. So what? It will always happen, and he might have even done it just to get a rise out of you. My point is, why bother with something so inconsequential? Instead of cluttering your mind with something a jackass typed up to try and piss you off you should have looked right passed it, not that I blame you. The world is filled with people not ready to accept anything that cannot instantly be proven, this does not make them idiots, this just means they don't want to look like fools. Unfortunately sometimes they look like fools anyway by trying their hardest to dis-prove something when it is really impossible and irrelevant to them entirely.

Like I said, you're right. It's my problem that I fight back so strongly somtimes but I'm done now.

BTW, I admire you're ability to posess this atribute with so little effort. I'd say it's one of my only problems, unfortunetly it's the biggest.

Please note that I have found it unnesisary to substaniate my point any further. I left 3 posts (2 more than nessisary) but that's hardly spamming. and what's so immature about what I'm doing? Simply stating an obious flaw in someone's logic. Where's the persistance? He maybe telling the truth! I just want solid evidence. Besides i have to have something to do while rendering! Argue with that logic!

I know this is a strange coment and all, but I just wanted to say that I just recently discovered New Found Glory for myself and I think they are freaking awsome! I keep trying to find the right anime to do an amv to either the song that goes "I still choose my friends over you" or the one thats like "Still its better where your going anyway" I just love them! :D

yeah, Jordan tends to write about nothing but Girls, and if the songs not about a girl it's directly related to an event that involved a girl. He just keeps meating all the wrong people. They're on tour a lot so they spend a lot fo time together, playing GTA3 on their tour bus ps2 and things like that. All the girls he meets tend to be stupid teeni boppers that don't actualy like him, they like new found glory as a whole and would go out with any of them. I've been trying to think of an idea too, but all his lyrics are so whiney and girl oriented, it gets pretty hard trying to pick out the right song, i completly understand what you're saying.

New Found Glory sucks, all the guys in that band are overweight and eat too much.

:D Anyone with the NFG dvd would know what I'm talking about.

I sincerely want to thank you all for helping me along. I will try my best to be legit.

There have been many variations on the quote through time (and I wouldn't know which of them is the original), but I believe the one that you were aiming for was:

"The immature artist imitates. Mature artists steal." - Lionel Trilling

In any case, it's a criticism and not the best way to drum up support for your cause.>>

Well... you're right.. I guess I just thought of it and thought it belonged here or something. I'm starting to wish I never started this thread... I apologize for getting things ugly like this...

Picasso was the original I believe.

If picasso did say it (I remember it being TS Eliot but whatever) then I'm sure he meant stealing ideas rather than breaking into the louvre and pinching the Mona Lisa and scribbling his name on it ;)
