I have a quick question about the guides...

Post by Stryker » Fri Dec 06, 2002 7:09 pm

I got one simple question about AbsoluteDestiny & ErMaC's Technical Guides to All Things Audio and Video. Have you ever thought about putting it in PDF format? Not that I'm insulting it the html format that it's in now, I just figured that it might be better to have it in one nice PDF instead of like a couple dozen html pages when you download it. just a thought. *ducks and cowards in a corner*

Ehh it was mainly for the site.

There is this zip file here :

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... 6oct02.zip

if you want to download the entire guide contents in HTML :O.

PDF is okay and all for vector and text, but there are some images in there and just converting the HTML to PDF is not worth the effort.

I have the zip of the guide already, It just crossed my mind, cause I work at a publishing company, around the digital prepress area, and I know they do a lot with pdfs as proofs and other things along those lines.

Thanx for the reply. :D

Now that's a hell of a idea  I think I'll start on it this weekend and see what I can do with it.

Of course, I wouldn't release it any where without the creators' consent.

Thanks for the Idea. ^_^

If you do make a PDF out of it, be prepared to update it when we update the guides ^_^ Cause I wouldn't want the PDF to get totally out of sync with the real thing. Thanks for the effort, though. If it looks good (please let me see it before hand) you of course have my permission to use it. Have to ask Ian about it, too, though.
