This is my view of whats going on.
About 1 week ago, I dropped out of a project with my 2 friends, and decided that I might stop making videos. It was getting tough, both for my life and for my wallet, but then I realized something. There are people out there who actually
want to see my videos. There may not be many for me, as I'm new, but there are some. I've made some really great friends here, friends who I'm dying to meet. There are people who go out of their way to give more to their fans, who actually do this for fun. Then there are others who take it so seriously if they have no opinions. I've learned to stop doing that, and let the good times roll. To stop making AMV's for opinion reasons only is a joke. Come on now, so what if the opinions are getting dull, or if the site is going downhill. Who can't say that that hasn't ever happened to them? It's one man, running a site with other 3000 people, and I think he's done one hell of a job. My praise to you Phade.
I can understand the lack of indepth opinions, however there are some who really do give indepth opinions. Mirai MM, MeriC, VegettoEX, etc. give some great opinions, and they are all my friends. They are the counter card of this whole opinion thing.
I agree that the standard is poor and some reviews I have are very amateurish. I personally think that there are still members who don't quite understand the system (partly because b4 'that' the site lacked an in-depth opinion guide, but now, even it's there, some ppl didnt noticed it.)
EK, I agree about this, and my best of luck to you in the future. To all AMV creators, let's give Phade some help, and do our part for this site.
