Yeah I think The Wired Knight nailed it. Flandamac is the best of them all  .

But yeah there's really no way for me to choose.

Fluxy - Great with instrumentals. Very artistic. Precise editing.

ErMaC - Great with... pretty much everything, especially Evangelion :P . Fluxy's a little stronger with the artistic side, in my opinion. ErMaC seems to do a better job with the technicalities and editing.

SpPANDA - Pretty good with action. Very good with making sad videos. Decent editing job.

So all things considered... I'd have to go with either Flandamac or Buddy Lee.

Time to get my categorization on:

Ermac: of course he showed usthe light, and his videos are technical masterpieces, but I don't think any of his video concepts have ever really struck me.

Flux: Rock solid concepts, excellent editing.

Spanda: Session 4 had the best beginning I've ever seen in an amv. Even after the beginning it was still a very good video, as are his others.

I find this question kind of offensive. :x

It's seems all right if people post "what are your favorite videos?" threads or post threads praising the work of a single creator. But to take a few specific creators and ask people to decide if this creator is better than that one is being sort of unfair to them.

It could cause (though admittedly, hasn't much so far) people to take sides, favoring creators. Plus it promotes competitiveness in the AMV community.

I certainly wouldn't want people listing me on a "good" scale among other creators. Even if I was favored most(yeah right!) I'd feel bad about it because the other creators' feelings could've been hurt. And if I was favored below other people I might feel the need to do better than them.

I admit, nothing particularly bad has happened so far in this thread and probably won't but the question still annoys me. It's a little like being at someones birthday party and asking them in front of all their friends who's present they liked the best.

I dunno, am I making too big a deal out of this? :?

He did ask which we liked best. Maybe some people will mean that implies which we think is best, but it's not really the same thing. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and he just wanted to know other peoples' opinions on it.

Exactly, thank you flint

btw, flux gets my vote, since souls of rage and sorrow is my favorite AMV of all time.
Followed up by a tie for second between saving the world before bedtime and his spriggan video to naked sunday.

Did you just make a Phantasm reference, or was I reading too much into "knifeballs"?
