What kind of AMVs do you like to make?

This forum is for the general discussion of Anime Music Videos.

Anytime I get to edit to a song with a really clear, consistent percussion line I am happy. =)

But really, other than liking to make AMVs that are easy to make, I like making vids for my favorite shows the most because then I actually care about the characters and the plot that the vids portraying.

Same here ^^.

No, for serious I like doing dramas, sentimentals etc. the best. I like using songs thats lyrics match to the anime in the one or other way. I also like instrumentals, though syncing a guitar solo can be quiet a pain (the first time for me was the exposure project(isn't online) I had to sync 100secs of solo. Well I synced every single noise, which meant -----> 459 scenes.).

I like to make videos that I like to watch.

Depending on my mood, or what little inspiration hits, that's what I'll make. If other people like it, that's cool. If not... meh. Feedback is great, and I have learned a lot from all that I've received, but I'm doing this for fun.

I guess I like making serious videos most. I mean, I've tried fun/upbeat...semi-failure. I tried comedy...GINORMOUS failure. I tried action, but my sync was too slow. Finally, I made a serious/horror video and it turned out great. I'm thinking that that's my ideal genre.

I'd like to try action and upbeat/fun again, but I'll likely never attempt another comedy video. It's just...NOT good.

RPBP

(two of my other more sarcastic AMV's also count)

I hate making my more serious videos, but I sure like watching them when they're done

/me glances at his profile.

I like making romantic dramas and/or DBZ action vids. That's why I've done so damned many of them. Perhaps it's time I expand into sarcastic comedy or something.

I like making amv's that have ori. - although I've kinda failed in that sense somewhat with some that I've made already.. :? , and now even more so I just try my best to come up with ori. ideas for amv's

I love editing random action/dance vids, but I get distracted watching the finished project - as soon as I finish one I get all excited and want to make another instead of enjoying what I have. My favorite to watch is an eyecandy romance/drama vid, so I make those the most. They're not as fun to edit, but they're a *lot* more fun to watch, and the replay value is constant so long as I continue loving the featured anime/characters.

I really enjoy editing and watching fun/dance vids - good replay value + active editing enjoyment. But I have very few ideas for this type of video, so I rarely get to make them.
