Which of your AMVs are you proud of the most?

This forum is for the general discussion of Anime Music Videos.

Sentimentally, The Nights Will See Them Through, which I also frequently regard as probably my best despite the lip sync errors and bad transfer (since I was still editing at 29.97 instead of IVTC'ing at the time I remastered it). Maybe I'll get around to refining it again, but I'd rather not go through remastering a video twice.

Conceptually, Shinji's Irresistible or Decisions. SI for actually having planned out the lyric sync nearly a year before the largest portion of the video work was actually done, and Decisions because of various miscellany.

Artistically, Solace In Destruction, being the first that I probably had really tried to accentuate certain aspects of my editing (and I really liked being able to use that blanket filter and musical piece). I need to do the follow-ups; just need to get more anime, though.

Interesting thread...

Videos I'm 'proud' of...well for me what I become proud of is when a video really does what I set out to do with it...I'm proud of all my videos...but currently...

No Words - This video was able to make the finals in a 'regular' AMV contest despite the shonen-ai themes, which says something about the video.

The Promise - I love this video, and so happy/proud with how it turned out. It does what I wanted it to do. It really is a very deep video. (Deep videos make me proud).

In the same line...I always like to show December 1864, and For Kaoru, to those people who don't mind drama. As I'm so happy/proud of the video/music combinations. That I felt I did well to pair the two together, that maybe the creator of the series wouldn't mind that I chopped up their work and put it with music.

The last one, and one I'm most 'proud' of is Amadeus. The sheer range of emotions the audience went threw when they saw the video, and that I was able to integrate Live Action footage with Anime footage where it was very 'natural', made me very happy. I was very proud of the video when it showed. As I watched the video in the contest, I knew it wouldn't win, but how I was able to lead the audience around successfully just made me feel I had done what I set out to do.

<a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=80492">When The Rain Comes</a>.

It was the first AMV I did, then I went back and redid it after I got a better master. I broke the rule about subtitles, but I did it intentionally. Certain parts use them because I wanted the dialog. other parts I left them "off." It's still not great quality because I don't have a good program to work with, but I'm VERY happy with the video.
