Nuff said.

That or add in Naruto and your chances of popularity increase :P

Vlad

x3. Oh and use Linkin Park that will increase your chances by a 1,000 times more. Hey it worked for Senta Miller he made Otakon finals with it. Seriously.

This smells a lot like jealousy. Senta MIller made the Otakon finals because he's damn good.

Thanks! I was about to post the same thing Julian :P.

As others have stated, Senta made the finals (and has WON Otakon Action multiple times) becuase he is a good editor.

In fact, at Otakon I seem to recall people *booing* his video once they saw the audio source and then cheering heavily once they saw the entire video. Why? Because it's well-edited. Regardless of the source. If anything the source initially hurt his first impression and yet his editing made up for it.

Though yeah, I was guilty of kinda cringing about hearing a video with Naruto and Linkin Park being in the finals, though, I didn't realize who the editor was and how well he edited it.

I've watched it several times and it really was edited very well. Senta got'er done.

I think it was a bit unfair of you to single out Senta Miller like that, too. What about (not sure if he is listed on this site) NeoGohan? He's made DBZ videos to Linkin' Park songs that were actually pretty amazing; much like how VegettoEX has done.

Editing > Source ftw.

No seriously though if Senta Miller can make a good Naruto Action AMV then that proves that it can be done. I'm not jealous of him at all. He took a concept that was over done in my personal opinion and made it work better than any other video out there and that's the truth. I have to say it is one of the best Naruto/ Linkin park amv's I've seen. I was just pointing it out as a fact that it does work to your advantage sometimes.

Also this shows that he wasn't affraid to do it his way. This showed that he had courage to make an amv that he knew was overdone. Sorry if you guys took my post the wrong way. Senta is a creator I greatly respect for his skills and talents.

That doesn't sound like it worked to his advantage.

In any case, I'm glad the crowd can realize what a quality video is regardless of the source material.

It does - if people think your video is going to suck and then it blows them away, that makes it that much better in the eyes of the audience.

...says the editor who made it to the Otakon finals riding on the back of an Avril Lavigne song

I wasn't the only one to use an Avril Lavigne song this year? Or was this some previous year?

Good point. Set low expectations.
