Read the forum. It's filled with many, many people asking the exact same question as you.
"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

Read it again.

Use a dictionary if you have to.

Really, it's not that hard; it's certainly easier than just about any college-level text. If you can handle those then you'll be fine. If not...well, it's good practice.

No, it doesn't help. Your computer hardware has nothing to do with your inability to understand.

By the way, you missed the long vowels.
This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 512 character limit.

One of the threads that might help you is this one:

Most of the specs for your PC won't matter, but one which definitely DOES matter is whether you have a DVD drive or a CD drive.

read phade's guide before reading ermac/absolutedestiny's or vic's.
it should make more sense that way.

but really you don't need to read the guides to start editing. just grab whatever video files you have on your computer, a music file, and import them to premiere, and start playing around. once you get the hang of it, then go back to the guides so you'll learn how to rip dvd footage and what not.

Homegurl/Homeboy, join the club. I have been saying that no one can translate this sandscript for years, and yet people still don't understand and complain "Why don't these newb's get it!?!?" Um, hello.

Honestly, the best advice has been listed. Re-read it again. Find people on the Video/Tech forums who are helpful and e-mail them (that's what I did). Ask friends. It's tough, I know, but you can do it ^_^

In some cases, months. And your signature is too big: forum rules restrict sigbars to a maximum height of 40 pixels.

I don't think it's the how part you're getting really.

It's the what...

Knowing how to move around in premiere or whatever program you have is NOT what the guides are for. That's what the help function [if u stole your program] or your instruction manual is for.

To actually do clean footage and clean music for your video. THAT'S what the guides here on the org are for. These guides won't save you from bad amvs. [hell, look at my first 4 lol] but they can help you clean up your footage [my recent works...]

to become a 'good' editor is all subjective to the opinions and thoughts of others. Unless you're perfect and can get an opinion from every being in existence... [glares at koop...]

I'm soo glad im gonna be using premiere in college because, I use vegas, and I tryed to just make a cut of a video, and couldnt even fuckin do that. Premiere is wayyyyyyyyyy tooo fuckin confusing. lol I'm looking at the program talking about some "Which way is up? >.> <.<"

I mean I'm still gonna try to learn it and all but got damn. I'll stick with my vegas for the time being.

Premiere and Vegas are not all that different you know. They do essentialy the same things, but use slightly different commands. It's kind of like when you borrow a friends car, and the shifter is a different place. It feels weird, but still works.
