quick survey...

Postby Pwolf » Sat Sep 03, 2005 3:15 pm

i need people to tell me what primary editing program they use. this means if you use Vegas and After Effects, only give me the program you do must of your timing and cuts in (most likely Vegas).

now here are the rules for this quick survey. if you use premiere, don't post. if a program has already been mentioned, don't post. this should be quick and only last a day or two at most. no side conversasions or any other small talk. just post the name of the program.

the reason i ask, is that i'm trying to compile a list of programs editors are using to edit with.

post away.

PS: this might have been better off in an other forum, but i feel the majority of the forum readers only look at the general forum (including myself) and i need a wide range of editors to see this post. thus giving me, i hope, a larger list of editing programs.

I've used WWM2 for all of my existing videos.

However I'm currently using Magix Movie Edit Pro 10...just haven't finished one yet.

Since four videos before my latest, yes. I use it for all my timings, cuts, edits and effects. :) ^_^ The only thing for that I need in another program is the export. :)

I use both premiere and Vegas(primarily Vegas). I'm crazy I bought both of them. An interesting thing about Vegas is that it seems to just run faster than premiere no matter what I do, and also when I export I'm less likely to have something go wrong with Vegas. another interesting thing about Vegas is that it now supports AVS no problem no matter what your script is, as long as it reads in AVSedit it'll read in Vegas. You need to get the new features in the new DGindex with Vfapi support and use Vfapi to convert them to fake avis to read in Vegas. I get no slow down with most of my avs scripts when I use them in Vegas, maybe because I use filters like mftoon, etc after I export my video in Huffyv format, also sometimes do some filtering with VirtualDub as well.
