I spent in excess of 350 hours on my latest project, and it is, by far, The Worst Video ever.

I think you need to factor some more variables into your equation. For example, you might try to consider the intelligence of the editor, using me for a baseline of 0.

I should also note that a theorem, by definition, is not a "speculation", but rather a proof. Theorems also do not ever fail for their given conditions. That is, there is never an "exception to a theorem".

But now we're just being pedantic. And double-posting.

so to put it mathmaticaly
AMV TIME=z
POSTS=x
Qualtiy=y

z-x=y

so is this so mathmatical way to acuratley find the quality of a video? or am I just high?

no, totally untrue!! It all depends on the quality of your idea and how much quality work you get done. my last vid only took me 45 minutes to edit and it's lookin pretty good, my third best work (out of four) so far! and that's 0 time plannin too ;-p I just cut a bunch of chapters, put it with the music and let Premeir edit it ;-p not that I didn't do anything or that it's horrid, no synch. It's just amazing what premeir does on it's own with an idea that's not bad... just had to trim a few scenes here and there and I was done b4 the 5th inning of WS game 1.

BTW that's only compairing my vids against each other... so pretty good may be mediocre in ALU's viewpoint or similar 'pro'.

Another Calculation

Postby anneke » Thu Oct 31, 2002 12:44 pm

How good of a creator are you:

Years Creating AMVs * Number of AMVs created / Contests entered + Awards Won.

This takes in that years of experience mean alot more then just a bunch of AMVs. Entering a contest doesn't make you a better creator,
however it does if your able to come out of the contest with awards. Meaning the audience liked them, and using the awards as a basis
for determing quality.

Anneke
P.s. This was done in fun, and should not be taken seriouslly.
3 * 18 / 11 + 5 = 9.9 yeah! heheh

How about people who are unable to go to contests and thus cannot win awards? Does that automatically make their AMV's worse than yours?

Your formula is flawed.

Hey, I got a 9, this thing DOES work!
