Best video?

Postby anneke » Wed Oct 30, 2002 1:00 pm

Best Video... that's a hard one. Best as in the one you believe is the most technically sound, or just the video you think is the best, or the video that is the best because of what others think, or the video you just like the best.

I still think my Ketsurui video is my best video. It's pretty technically sound and the matching of the song to the anime was to perfect in my opinion. However my video For Kaoru is creeping up very fast. It's not very technical, but I just personally like it and again the lyric to anime matching is very good.

That's my favorite thing. To match lyrics to anime footage, expecially when they are a good match.

My personal favorite video is Liquid Petals since I love the song and the footage matches up so well with the music. Also, it has chicks making out dammitt! =P However, the video that seems to have gotten me the most infamy is probably PFS!. From a technical standpoint, Service With a Smile is probably my most sound and has won me my only con awards.

My personal Best video happens to be a non-Anime.

As for AMV, I've made 3. Two are serious and one is experimental. The latter is a total waste. The best one (judging quality & popularity) is Angel Sanc. - Vulnerable, which is also my 1st AMV. The other one only targeted to very specific audience.

Best video...humm thats really hard....

In terms of fan favorite it's Trigun - Eden hands down.

But in terms of what I think is the best....it's a tie with Eden and Evening Star ^^

I would have to say the one I am currently in the process of completing!

(The Title is yet to be determined... It's just a filler/beta name!)

Before this video, it was a toss up between my Bloodlust trailer, Memories of Eva, and Here Comes the Sun..

If I had to choose one, it'd probably be Course of Action.

i would say my in-production one but im slowly getting more ashamed of parts 4 sum reason, im not really happy with the whole idea so ill probly scrap it /cut it short.
my best then would have to be either "my life" or "better off dead" but i cant decide for the life of me!

My faves of mine?

Best "Dance": Dancing Stars - Feel the Rhythm...
Best non-fx: To Love, To Love Not...
Best Drama: Moonlight Vengeance - Feel the Rhythm...

Best overall: ??

Perhaps it's a tie between "Fire of Man's Desire" (I love Mizuho) or "Moonlight Vengeance - Feel the Rhythm" (it just has an "epic" feel to it...)

Hrmmm...well I've only made like two, but I'd have to say that my Cardcaptor Sakura - Beginings (final cut) is the best I've made thus far. Certainly not the best I'm capable of, but of the two I've made I think it has the most emotion. The other one I made was more of an intro with the Buffy intro music, same anime as Beginings. It turned out really well I thought for my first action video. Unfortunetly for the time being I've no place to put either of them up for peeps to download. :(

of all my videos...
Session 02 - "Because She..." would be my favorite and/or best video...
because... it took alot of time to edit and find the right layout to reach the story i was trying to share. it's a sad song... and it matches the anime well... i'm happy with it...
and since i'm
redoing the
whole thing....
i'm
sure it'll
be
perfect
this time around.

I enjoy all of mine for one reason or another, but I'd have to say my Appetite for Dynamite Cowboy Bebop vid is the one I am most proud of ^_^

And you should be, I liked it a lot. My favorite would be "Technoshock" because the world's strongest is just a load of crap and this is actually starting to look like something.

My Akira video, definately. It has the best editing I've done thus far, and the emotion factor in it is at it's peak. It's not available for downloading yet, but it will soon.

Hmmm..out of the whole 2 vids I've completed thus far? :P

I'd have to say that I like Hero the best..even if it does suck in terms of quality and such..I still like it. And knowing that when I redo it..that'll be much better is always a plus!

They Call Him the Bandit is good..but I really rushed the ending on it. :?
But if I were going to tell you which to see...see Bandit first. My second try and much better than the first.
