Count me in on that opinion too. Although for me, I'm mixing up the music, editing, imputing new sounds...so in the end, it's the same song, but different.

Actually, you were not the first to use the Decendants in a video.

That vid was made by Jarvious back in deceember of 2000. All your Decendants vids have a 2001 premiere date listed. I know he does not have a date listed, but trust me, I had that vid in december of 2000.

BTW Jarvious Demachi, whose real name is Jacob, is my room mate :P He's downstairs playing GTA Vice City at the moment heh

So yeah.. just thought you might wanna know.

I'm more tired of "random clip to random song" videos or boring concepts (or lack of any concept at all).

A song-to-anime match can still surprise me if it's edited well and intelligently.

Uh, and not that I personally have anything to offer on this front as far as underused artists go (I tend to like/use medium-ly used artists; so far they've been something like 2, 1, and 9 when I added my videos).

Still, I focus more on what the video is trying to say or evoke, if anything at all.

Yup yup! Jacob needs more self confidence. He thinks his vids suck ass :P I keep telling him that I laugh my ass off at the food video, and his original Sasami vid isn't THAT bad.. I mean, it's hosted somewhere, that's more than I can say about my stuff. The Sasami vid is on Simperson's site.

I've found that old and good is not used too... cept in Senatra's case... still there's alotta really good oldies, Elvis?, that nobody ever uses. Hell Ace of Base probly has more than Senatra and that's just ILL (hehehe for lack of a better word ;-p).

before anything else happens this guy is a newby (NOT a flame), he joined when the super search was the only method of searching. It's more than possible that he only searched for the bands he KNOWS therefore getting tired of seeing the bands he knows is more than probable  see this is problem #1 that I have about super search. it's a good alternative but alone it SUCKS just like Nsync (and I to love that vid ;-p).
</is proud that he's the first to bring it up in Forum suggestions>

Tommyrude is an egotistical b@stard? yeah so am I! bad boyz for life ;-p yeah I realize I'm a bit too old for that clik crap but ;-p

I try and use older music (60's, 70's, 80;s...) whenever possible. I love those eras of music and wish more vids utilized it. :D

I don't care if a song/band is overused. :P I don't go out of my way to
download that many videos anyway... I have too much fun making my
own. 8)

Korn
Doesn't
Suck.

Overuse of a song/band/anime never stops me and never will. :D
I have sinned. I made a video I wanted to make that was music + anime + sync + action + effects/transitions. Oh lordy.

I try to pick songs that people have most likely forgot about, but can still enjoy.

Of course, I'm not talking about much experience here... damn school and its homework, I have so much love to give!

And no, Fluxy. Korn... sucks... much...

It's your doing that makes them enjoyable! :D

I actually like that fact that all the n00bs run for the same stuff, it makes it easier to for me to sift out what to download and what to avoid.

I think 'Crawling' (LP and I hang my head in shame...) is oh so appropriate for AMG/ OMG and Ai Yori Aoshi (sp?) etc.
