I am looking for AMV that won awards this year can anyone name some? Please no evangelion videos tooooooooooooooooo many of those.

There's a guy around here with a website listing award winners from this years contests, you can find it in the AMV Contest forum I think.

Hmmm... i got a video that won 3 awards at yaoi-con O_o

LOL then i got an eva video that won a "proof that theres still life in eva videos" award, but i guess you wouldnt be interested

Um....well...let's see, about six awards per con, at least ten cons within the year of merit. That makes about sixty awards and roughly 2/3rds of that are different videos. So taht makes about fourty worth looking for. Find the thread where somebody made the award database. That should help.

Zarxrax's "Tod"
AD's "Shameless Rock Video" (that title still cracks me up)
OmniStrata's "Fire of Man's Desire" and "Dancing Stars"
uh, yeah, there's others, but those are the more recent ones I remember.

YOU know, that's something I thought about the search engine needs - a way to look for videos that "won". YOU can do it by participation but the creator would need to also submit that their video won just like they do for the contest it was entered in for.
