Yes, though I still don't know if that was intended or not...I remember when I first watched it I nearly had a heart attack.

I'm pretty sure that the first time I watched it I thought there was something wrong with the audio levels so I turned the volume up...huge mistake.

I kept it all as originally in the DVD audio track. Whether that was intentional or not is for you to decide, but I would not dare messing with the audio track's composition if it killed me. Plus, hey, at least it's memorable.

The only video that ever really scared me and quite literally made me feel sick was Сергеевич АЭС - "Боль" (Sergeevich AYES - "Pain"). I would advise against searching for it unless you know Russian - and even then there's a better than good chance that you'll hate it

To be perfectly honest, I can't even find it online... (it was on AKROSS' contest where it was for some reason DQ'd, but they don't have all the contest videos hosted anymore). I'll ask the creator.

Otherwise, those who happened to follow the AKROSS contest last year can tell you just how horrible it was

And one of the best parts of the video. You don't get that kind of reaction in AMVs often - it's a welcome change.

The AMV that won "Best Comedy" (out of all things) at Metrocon 2005 scared me so much that at the end I was about to start crying and screaming. Never ever had an AMV frightened me so much. Granted, I was a little upset due to the two I submitted not having won anything- but the video itself gave me NIGHTMARES afterwards.

It was a "Yami no matsuei" dialogue video. I won't even mentioned the dialogue because I don't want a panic attack. Many people liked it and could not see the problem. One friend even thinks that doing a YnM comedy video is hard enough alone to merit the award. But I was deeply offended by it- not to mention freaked out.

Well, I downloaded that vid after I read this thread... I watched it and was all the time waiting for something scary. You know, I get really fast frightened of something. I can't watch a psycho thriller, a horror film, or something like this without having nightmares, being scared when it's dark, etc. My family even says it's not normal. Well, but there was absoluteley nothing scary about that vid o0

There was one vid that really frightened me (it's the only horror vid I downloaded, because of my problem with scary things), it's an Elfen Lied AMV called Nocturne from SpawN:

That is, by the far, the most creepy Elfen Lied video I have ever seen (especially when you watch it in the dark :x ). I rarely watch that video though I do plan of getting the anime club to play it during Halloween.

If I ever see a good Linkin Park/DragonBall Z video, that would scare the sh** out of me.

Seriously, There are some anime's that have rather creepy and eirie scenes in them that are good for a "Freakout" kind of thing in yor AMVs, but flat out scared? Never.

I thought I was gonna have a heart attack when watching it...... VERY creepy...

I've gotten a lot of feedback that says how scary it is, which is new for me. Honestly I thought it was more 'wierd' than scary, but it would seem that I'm wrong.

Anyway, for me scary videos don't really scare me much, but 'disturbing' videos tend to have a greater impact. I'll usually always avoid perfect blue videos for just that reason.

Fall from grace is a pretty good example of a decent video that fits that category.
