Any classics you want remastered?

Postby x_rex30 » Tue Jul 12, 2005 6:44 pm

I would want Right Here Right Now by Aaron remastered. I would remaster it frame by frame and have it as accurate as I can to the original, but I would also like to know if Aaron would be ok with it.

There's also a lot more I would like remastered, like certain videos from Lord Rae that are not even on this site, also some from MeriC(witch I already talked to him about, bet he's talkin' about remastering some), and I would also do it for them if it was ok with there permission... etc..

So do you got any videos that you wish were remastered?

I thought MeriC was a chick....

Ever since I saw this video I've wanted a remastered version...it's so great, one of my favorites, but the quality is just terrible.

You know how much footage you'll need to remaster that video?! |: Damn, I don't think that would ever get remastered, at least not any time soon.

Well Arigatomina did "Too Much Anime" wich used 107 titles, and as of later "Ego Trip" which used 64 titles, all DVD ripped, whereas that video only uses 56 titles.

If I had all the anime I would be able to do it. I have over a terabyte of space on my computer.

I'd always wanted to do his Ultraspank/X video, but he went and did so himself. :P Probably would also like to do his old Eva video... but never will.

I'd love to see Critical_X's old Project 86/X video remastered, he never even listed it in his old profile.

Goku vs. Turtles
Buu's Reign of Evil
etc. etc. etc.

I doubt many people have seen those... :(

I don't know, I sometimes like the charm of old linear videos. Linear editing took so much work, I'm usually surprised stuff turned out as well as it did. For example, when Meri redid her Come with Me video, I really missed the old bad quality clips and inexact editing. Sure, the new one looked a billion times better, but the older one just seemed more charming... I nearly cried when my computer crashed and I lost that old version. Any one still have it kicking around somewhere?
Yeah, the AMV thesis....that was me.

I've thought about "remastering" Kyoto Kombat and Liberi Fatali...although they would be more like "remakes", since I would be using DVD footage, and thus would have access to a LOT more footage (no subtitles) than I did the first time around :? Kyoto Kombat will probably never happen, but Liberi Fatali is under serious consideration, especially now that the Giant Robo DVDs are coming out. Sooooo much good footage that I couldn't use the first time around because of subtitles.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.
