HELP W/ watching NARUTO!!

K guys. I just got into anime especially Naruto. Im dling most of my naruto off limewire and the ones that say amv- at the very start, only give me audio and no visual. Why is that? Can someone help? Btw im using winamp for music//videos.

You have not the proper video codec. Seek ye out <a href="http://www.aziendeassociate.it/cd.asp?dir=/ffdshow">ffdshow</a>.

Yes, get ffdshow.

Two points BTW:

1) This forum doesn't allow discussion of downloaded anime, and especially since...

2) Naruto has been licensed Stateside now.

If you get ffdshow, you still won't want to watch the vids in winamp - the color will be screwy at best. Try windows media player. Once you've installed ffdshow (or xvid), you should be able to play most any amv in windows media player.

How do i open windows media player? everytime i try to watch it reverts to winamp?

I'm assuming you mean when you click the files they automatically open in winamp.

If that's the problem, go to your start menu and choose 'my computer' or 'my documents'. Open the folder that you have the video files stored in. Right-click one of the files and go to 'properties'. click the button next to 'open with' and choose windows media player (if you don't see it, you may have to browse and find it). That should make windows media player your default player for those types of files. Or, you can open windows media player - it's probably listed in the start menu under accessories or 'media'. If the player is open, you can open the video file inside the player.
