It's weird when I release a video and I'm really happy about it.

Did you know that there was an option to replace the women with bikini-clad men? A useful tool.

My weirdest experience so far has been the simple fact I'm still married and not in jail despite my videos. I would have sworn that by now at least one of my vids would be used against me in a court of law.

There was also that one time when I opened up Premiere and a video that didn't suck was on the timeline. Strangest feeling I've ever had.

I've gotten weird floaty my-head-feels-10-feet-away sensations when writing while sleep-deprived. I would bet that's similar.

My AMV editing, however, is too slow to really get into any sort of flow. Let's-scrub-through-this-source-one-more-time-*yawn*

The weirdest things so far are just little coincidences that I end up wanting to use in the video. Oh, though on the way to a con my traveling companions, despite (at the time) not knowing anything about my "work," played two songs that I'd made videos to. Nearly in a row. It was a little strange.

Other than that, no.

I can't edit for more than an hour at a time. Anything longer than that, and I start feeling really, really sleepy. Sometimes I would edit for a while, then collapse on my bed for an hour-long nap, then get up to attempt to do it all over again.

That counts as weird right?

Maybe my AMVs are boring?

happens to me all the time (except i don't always make it back to my bed). and the sleepiness is inversely proportional to how much progress i'm making. if i'm getting scenes and effects done one after another, i can stay into it for hours. if i'm unsuccessfully looking for a scene to fill a verse or timing a cut to a beat, i can last maybe 20-30 minutes. perhaps we're going over the proverbial video editing hill.

nothing "weird" but i've suprised the hell out of myself.
i'll start doing such a complicated idea, and do it hella fast with barely any thought, and it turns out perfect. idk if you could call that weird.

nothign weird except for that time aliens abducted me while making an AMV and gave me an anal probe. i can't call that weird though, cause i don't remember it. they wiped my memory
KioAtWork: I'm so bored. I don't have class again for another half hour.

Bad dream would be going back to use vdub only. The thought alone brings sweat to your brows.

Mm.. For my entry video last year, I stayed up for 36 hours doing nothing but editing, tending to newborn kittens and drinking caffeine. I started having minor hallucinations- seeing stuff out of the corner of my eye and whatnot. It wasn't scary so much as just annoying- you see something move out of the corner of your eye, you tend to look at it. Even once I realized there was nothing there, my reflexes would go "HEYWHATSTHAT?!!" and boom, I'm distracted from my video.

They went away after a good twenty hours sleeping. >_<;;; And no, I wasn't on drugs!

What's wrong with that? Music, Fangirls, Beer and AMVs. I mean, what else could you want in life? That's the ultimate zen enlightenment, right there.

This sounds like people who say they spend months on a video... when they only edit for an hour a day :P

In fact, I could have finished videos faster if I edited longer...

Well it's like what dwp said. If I'm really on a roll, I can get a good chunk of a video done within a day - and have it turn out to be quite decent. But I've found that the in-between time is probably just as important as time spent actually editing. Taking a break really helps with inspiration when I'm stuck on something.

... of course, it doesn't help when the "break" turns into weeks and months. :P
