Speaking of that, we should have an edit button like the Bebop. Yes, we need one. Also, I just read page one. I'm proud.

I couldnt agree with you more, Panda! Your post was both in depth and well writen, and CLEARLY shows the exact things wrong with the AMV community at large. I've been a fan before, but this takes it to a whole new level.

I had to learn how to make vids on my own... and it wasnt easy. No one was there to help or give me the slightest hint of what to do and what not to do. In a way, it was a good and bad thing, but some help would really have been nice at times when utter frustration nearly made me give up the AMV makin business.

I have been asked how to make vids, and you know what? I helped God damnit! Newbies look up to seasoned vets of the AMV world for help, guidance and encouragement! Who are we to turn a def ear to their questions??

Remember who you were when you started: a newbie, just like they are. Show some love! Who knows, they might become legandary AMV makers some day and they'll thank you for it!

SPpanda just spent over an hour helping me rip a DVD yesterday... Also, I think we need an official "grim reaper" gif to signify a dead thread.

I've got a couple that I keep and use for occasions such as these....which I shall use now in a salvo in hopes of killing this thread dead, or at least attrating mod attention to do same.

As for death and the Grim Reaper...

A locked reminder. I hate when people respond to dead threads, because it has their name on my "your posts" list, and I like to always be the last one. It makes me continuously open the thread to remember what it is.
