*Points to the audio guide link in his signature*

See Sourcing your audio -> Getting audio from video files or getting audio from anything you can hear in windows.

That all depends...what's your idea (I was gonna attempt G Gundam over the LOTR trailers...)

What do they have in common

[Dark Helmet] ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!![/Dark Helmet]

Hell, honestly I'm still debating whether or not I actually would do it...it just seemed like one of those funny as Hell ideas that I could make work...
Besides, sometimes they really don't need much connection to work (for the films having little connection to the animes the videos "Lord of the Ballz" and "Heero Must Die" turned out ok in spite of the fact the animes had next to nothing to do with the movie audio)
Besides, if that happens it won't be for a while (it's not easy to find that series raw)

I've started rambling now...I'll stop...

Ok...just remembered what prompted the idea...however given the lack of an edit...here it is

I was talking with a friend about the series and we were joking about it...at one point, through a course I can't remember exactly, we started talking about seeing Master Asia as Saruman...the joke kind of spiraled out from there to draw the rest of the characters in...

And now you know...

PLenty of programs will let you segment teh video from teh audio at will so all you have to do is open teh file and then remove the video and then place your AMV over it. If your editing program doesn't do this however, Virtual dub will let you do it just as easily.
