Hi minna san ^^

Post by misao_chan » Sun May 02, 2004 8:16 am

Before anything, I'd like to apologize for my bad english...I'm french but I'll do my best for my language to be correct ^^
I've been making AMV for 2 years now and I made about 100 video clip.
Here is my website :
www.jennyproduction.eu.org
You'll find the inventory of most of my AMV, a large gallery (Full moon, dn angel, kamikaze kaitou jeanne, tokyo mew mew, da capo, gals, ultra maniac and so on...), avatars, animated gifs, kaos etc...

I have one question,
could it be possible to host my amv here?
I know one hundred is quite huge but I won't send you all of them ^^
Onegai, tell me if you're interested ^^
I tried to send one of them this morning but I'm not sure it really worked :(

thx and see ya ^^

As long as your videos contain predominantly anime footage, have no sexual nudity or excessive violence/gore, and follow the other rules, you can upload them to the Golden Donut, a-m-v.org's own dedicated AMV server. (It hosts all the videos you see as having LOCAL links.)

First, you'll have to add them to the database (which you should do even if you don't plan to upload them, just on principle). From the Members main menu, click "Enter New Video", and it's pretty self-explanatory from there. One thing that some get mixed up about: Only fill out the Links section if you've already got a copy of your video somewhere else on the web. A link is not necessary for the video to be added.

Then, for each video you added to the catalog, you can click on "Upload Video" and FTP it to the Donut (if you don't know how to work FTP, there's a helpful link on one of the Upload pages). Don't worry about updating the Links section for each uploaded video; the links will show up automatically.

And one more thing: a number of people here are French, but the only one whom I can remember at the moment is WilLoW :--), who I'm sure will be replying to this thread as soon as he sees it, but if he doesn't, you might want to send him a PM or something.

WOOT crazy French anime-chick! Just kidding. Welcome aboard. your English is beter than most of the members, so don't worry about it too much.

100! well... sure I guess that's fine. you should find a button on the left of your member page called "Upload video" You'll need some FTP software I use SmartFTP and the upload process isn't all that difficult. You might want to check out this thread for some more detailed help.

Thx for your help
I've added about 20 AMV in the database ^^
I will add the others when the upload of those 20 is over ;-)

Humm I've just thought about something, since it will take a long time to upload all the 100, could it be possible to send you all of them by post?
(I'll pay all charges ^^)

Welcome to the Org, misao_chan!

A lot of French AMV makers seem to be from Toulouse for some reason....

J'écris français assez bien aussi, hein?

Le monde a besoin des AMVs d'Alizée et Nolwenn Leroy...
