How will the U.S. take over Canada, when most of them think that as soon as you cross the border there's snow and trees everywhere. I mean it's not possible that while crossing a bridge that you go from warm weather where you are wearing shorts and t-shirts and then hit all sorts of snow and hail and have to wear heavy coats and boots. Most people don't realize the international influences Canada has had on the world, especially the U.S.

It only got that way because you misunderstood what was going on. (To be fair, some Americans have lost their sense of goodwill since 9/11, too, although far fewer than I might have expected.)

Good-natured ribbing and friendly rivalry is what happens between friends. And if the U.S. has any friends internationally, Canada is one of them - along with the British and Australians. (For that, you can thank some Enlightenment Brits who decided they had rights worth fighting the king for.) Practically everyone down here knows this, and I assume it's the same way north of the border - except maybe in Quebec :) . Just ignore the rednecks and troublemakers.

As for the "war", Canadians and Americans have fought side by side since at least World War II. In fact, I heard that some Canadian sharpshooters helped save the lives of some American soldiers during Operation Anaconda last spring. One of these guys set some kind of world record for long distance shooting that day. Unfortunately, they had to get their ammunition and clothing from the American supply, since it appears the Canadian government is not that supportive of their own soldiers. Lousy bureaucrats are on both sides of the border.

To get back to the post subject I'm from Canada:) and also I think anyone is better then Jean Chreatian even R-A-N-M-A. He barly speaks english and half the time I have no idea wtf hes saying. Also I thought this was funny but I talked to 3 people who said theyd only go to war if it was against the USA. We did it in 1812 we can do it again

Bah! You have a smaller army! And you've let your government castrate your personal firearms ownership, so you can't form good militias.

This is why the glorious and RIGHT annexation of Canada will go so easily.

I honestly think all the jokes aboot canada are purely in jest not hate. Like in Ren and stimpy, south park or maxim magazine hehe. It's like making fun of your brother, alot of ppl can't tell us apart unless to fit the sterotype, but we make fun of southerns too, and tokyo makes fun of osakans etc.
