Maybe you?
How about those troops you've got in afganistan? Whose to say you won't bomb them again?
Or how about you funding Isreal in the war against Palastine?
Those are just a few.
Are you sure you wanna argue this? I'm fairly knowlegable on these subjects. First of all, America is a bitch when it comes to sphere of influence, we all know that. I personally am NOT happy with our governments actions right now, but for the hell of it I'll argue with you.
The troops that are still in Afganistan are hunting Osama, they're not attacking the nation, that was never part of the equation. We invaded along with the Northern Alliance in an effort to topple a corrupt and horrid government. I mean, would you RATHER the Taliban still be in power? They were terrible people. They ruled with fear and greed, and I'm not just saying that because the American Media has brainwashed me. I know people who lived there and escaped, and trust me, it was hell. They went through the streets killing and maming as they pleased.
As for the funding of the Isrealis, that is our fault. But then again it was the British who first dropped them in there after WW2 and left. They started it, and were it not for our original funding the citizens would've been slaughtered by the Palistinians. However, today is a different story, and in my opinion we should cut funding immediately. But you can't blame America for that war. Hell, Clinton tried to set up a peace treaty for 8 fucking years and neither side would accept. Don't get me wrong, I hate Bush's attitude right now, but the problem mainly is that the two leaders are too damn stubborn. Not to mention the attitudes of the populations.
On a final note, I believe Canada supports military action against Saddam, seeing as your government seems eager to join the effort, go ahead and prove me wrong.
