Honestly no. I hate my first AMV it is absolute crap and a horrible attempt wth teh two vcr method. I can't believe I actually sent it to a con. That video is now gone and buried in a closet somewhere back home.

If I did, I'm sure an "Asuka's Last Stand" counterattack would occur. ...I watch my first vid that I actually kept sometimes but it's really terrible. I still love the song, so I'll play it and minimize the video just to listen to the audio. =P

My first AMV was my 20th video made, in 1998. So I guess it's a slightly different case, but it doesn't even matter for I even still watch my first MV, that's where making videos to songs and shows that you really like pays off.

Yeah, occasionally. Hate to admit to a mixed Sailor Moon, Iria ZA and VoE video, but considering the sources, the editing prog and the age... not too shabby.

My first public one, however, is another story. *shiver*

I dont' normally watch it, but I sent it to a friend the other day and watched it while I was transferring it, just to remind myself of what I was sending him.

It was pretty bad.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

ya sure, I still watch it, and I still like it, took me only 12 hours and it was easily made with the supper crappy son of a bitch Microsoft Movie Maker program. Ok sure it was "Experimentation" I wanna made something out of the ordinary so I choosed a bunch of my fav anime scenes, Christina Aguilera and That Black singer girl from The Vangaboys and some Devil May Cry scenes from a preview vid that I founded on the net like 8 months before the game came out. And That track from Machine Head ya I luv it, even if that vid might be "out of sight" at some point , I still watch it and I like it oh yeah it KICK ASS !!!!!! Go D/l it Now ^_^

Yes, I still do, I had around 8 months of effort to put into my AMV "The Wickity Wild West". Something of a pet project that I envested a couple hours of my life on ever day until I finally completed it.. about 3 months ago. It was well recieved at Otakon 2002 dispite some faults it had going through conversion process and even though I have recently finished another AMV, I still perfer my first when showing other people my work.

Yes- especially lately, as I'm working on going back and remastering them from DVD sources instead of the varied sources we used way back when. I still watch all of the videos we made, and I'm still impressed with how well they turned out, especially the first one given that, well, it was the first one we had ever made.

I still watch them because I think that they're either really fun or really moving- if I didn't like the first one so much I never would have been able to sit through AC/DC's 'Big Gun' countless times trying to get the timing right. The same goes for the others- if my co-creators and I didn't like the videos so much, we never would have taken the time to make them. Unfortunately, not many people outside of my school's club and our friends have seen them yet, despite us having made them 6 or 7 years or so ago.

Well, my first AMV is something akin to a train wreck.... it's so horrible you just can't stop looking at it. If anyone wants to see this monstrosity, it is located here.
