Anime Music Video CLASSICS

Post by Lyrs » Thu Aug 29, 2002 5:15 pm

The site NEEDS a classic page for the videos that really made the biggest IMPACT on AMV's.

Classics should be the standing show piece for a category, if a video is multi-catergory, then it is posted on whichever catergory it recieved teh highest score points.

Odorikuruu seems to be a highly rated video and it seems to also have made a huge impact on the AMV community. I would vote for Odorikuruu as the Overall Classic video.

Highest ranking does not always mean better...although your idea has some potential, it will not work since everyone..every single individual here has a different idea of what video has had the biggest impact on amvs.....¬¬..btw, congrats on your 15 posts per day current average, you're on your way to spamminghood...

LOL, thanks for the heads up on teh Posts. It's just my free day and I have nothing better to do right now. Anyway, I like conversation and writing down my thoughts on what other people think.

As for spamming, I believe that so long as I am not destructive I'm not doing anythin gparticularly bad.

"My Euthanasia" was by Lorraine Savage. I couldn't believe it was hers when I saw it... it was terrific! She had some wonderful talent that had, to that point, been completely untapped.

I'd also like to nominate C-ko's "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic", using Kiki's Delivery Service. I daresay it's the defining Kiki video.

And how did I know that you'd nominate "Why Me?" :)

Odorikuruu was pretty recent though...

I say Duane Johnson's DBZ - Particle man.

Quu, you kiddin' me? I know "Veteran" may well be the only Grey video out there, but it's my least favorite of the lot. Just felt so by-the-numbers... I dunno.

The Gundam one is Bad Religion's "In So Many Ways". I can't wait to remaster it since Char's Counterattack just came out on DVD. There's a lot more I can do with it without having subtitles in the way.
