*whacks eva pilot 14 over the head with Dragonball Z tapes and knocks him out*

*douses eva pilot 14 with Pepsi Blue and Country Time Lemonade (no real lemon ever!)*

*Tosses a match onto eva pilot 14's prone, drink soaked body, jumps back as flames shoot 500 feet into the air*

Yow! Now THAT is refreshment!

Consider yourself initiated AND flamed.
I'm out...

Rap, especially the kind pushed into the mainstream by our beloved conglomerate labels, is utter drivel with the intellectual presence, musical force, and interest level of a bowl of cold Cream of Wheat.

That being said, there are some most worthy videos out there under any caption; anybody who hates on, say, Tainted Donuts, because ShakkaZombie are rapping rather than singing is just missing the point.

Hell, when it's that kind of rap it's not a cold bowl of Cream of Wheat, it's frozen.

I made a few rap vids. I've seen some good one's done like EK's "Crazy Ass Violence" and Sammy's "Jump", it's really all dependant on the editing job they did.

HEY, I like rap but to be honoust I don't listen to it much anymore. They all sound similer...even the lyrics, though are still some rap/R n B/Hip hop music I like.

However the worse is Garage music. The rapping sounds exactly the same in each song, and the worse thing is that the rapping in Garage sucks to begin with.

I hate So Solid Crew so much. Oh and there is also this crappy group who has done a cover of Crossroads ......and it sounds worse then the original!

Why don't artist just re-release their songs instead of allowing people to do crap covers.

Haven't seen the second one, but I did indeed like EK's "Crazy ass violence", "Tainted donuts" is also good. But I still dislike rap music.

I don't like many of the themes commonly done in rap, nor does the style particularly appeal to me, but I don't hate it intrinsically. *shrugs*

That said I found "Nuku Said Knock You Out" to be entertaining in a silly sort of way... Don't think I've seen any others.

Music? Is that what they're calling it these days. I don't particularlycare for rap either. Music is food for the soul and rap is like junk food. I know what its like to be sucked into the whole "wanna be a baller" trash but it teaches bad morales and encourages violence. Just my opinion but I think with all the great music out there rap just doesn't measure up. I like music with meaning and spirit and rap just doesn't do anything for me. I do think some of slim shadey's work is funny but it's not really music in my opinion. Good music should move you're soul and enlighten you. It should encourage you and happy music makes you happy, sad music makes you sad. All rap music makes me wanna do is go get a tatoo and get drunk and that can't lead to anything good.

Not all rap is like that. It's just that you have to search a bit to find stuff that isn't all about killing that guy who looked at you cross-eyed, screwin' hoes, drinkin' 40s, and who's got the most money (I'm staring very, very hard in JayZ's direction).
It's sad, because there is good stuff out there. I'm sure a lot of people have never heard some of the deeper songs by DMX, and he's a contemporary rapper.
