Greetings everyone i'm known as The Wired, and I was wondering if I could get a few opinions on what you think makes a good AMV. See i'm looking for a really good AMV that has more then just blood, guts and gore.... don't get me wrong I enjoy watching stuff like that but I want to see things with more feeling behind them. I want to see Love (Non-Sexual), anger, and sorrow; hatred, joy, and sadness. I want your opinion on what video you think best shows those feelings. Would perfer that the video you suggest have good music although music doesn't make the entire video it does build up the emotion behind it. But as I said I want suggestions therefore all suggestions are appreciated. Furthermore please be sure that the AMV suggested is downloadable. Thankyou all for your time.

This gets asked a few times a week. Try broswing through other threads, or use the "search" command.

Of course he doesn't. That's 'cause he's jbone...and he has an avatar of Roger Smith.

Not that either of those two things have anything to do with anything, just pointless observation...

Jbone i've watched you for a long time now talkin smart twards ppl. The specific reason I posted what I did was because i'm sick of using the "SEARCH" button when over half the videos #1 arn't downloadble anymore and #2 theres alot of videos. Sure i've found quite a few good vids in there but I want specifics from other people, the vids they enjoy. Usually the vid someone most enjoys is a really good one and those are the ones i'd like to see. Why search through all that when you can get specific ones that are good, no lemme rephrase that; ones that are better than good ones where people have put more than their all, their heart and soul into the feelings represented into the clips shown.

I think you misunderstand what jbone is saying.

He's not teling you to search all the videos, he's telling you to search the FORUM.

This particular question gets asked all the time, if you search the forum you will find threads about this topic and lots of names of videos that you might like. There's no reason to post the same thing again and again.

Just search the forum.

I know what you mean, I think lots of violence and gore is completely unnecessary in a video most of the time. Usually I stay away from videos I think look like they would be too violent for my taste.

What makes a good AMV? Many things that usually depend on individual people and their tastes. What makes an emotional AMV? Usually I find that if the song is emotional, the scenes used are emotional and match the mood of the music, and the video just matches the music in general it makes for an emotional AMV. That's what I find anyway. I tried to incorporate that into my latest video, In My Arms Again and I even tried to go so far as make people cry. I don't know if I did that or not but I have had people tell me the video had a lot of emotion in it.

I'd say Hakura's videos, especially Trigun - Eden and Evening Star are some of the most emotional videos I've seen. Evening Star is done to Rurouni Kenshin and has some violent scenes but for once I didn't mind it at all because it was done artistically.

Just my thoughts
