No I think you are confused, Adobe DID NOT release an update for Premiere 4.2.

PS: ...I am serious about this...
I have sinned. I made a video I wanted to make that was music + anime + sync + action + effects/transitions. Oh lordy.

*Carefully wipes drool off the forum*

Oh well, not like I have Windows XP anyways. :D

On the road of AMV making, along one road there are two paths:

The short ominous path of WMM and the long arduous path of Premiere. ;)

true true MJ, I did a DV avi export... but then you'd need premiere or some other program to convert that to a 'normal' avi... then to an mpeg... or i guess to Xvid or divx or vivo or xvixidivx or swf or txt. lol

I still need to learn how to use Xvid... some amazing encodes out there...

Good lord. For the last fucking time, WMM is total crap, people. Don't be decieved!

And MJ! You just left WMM! Don't tell me you'd actually go back to the piece of crap! Just remember your old AMVs! They were horrid! You've improved so much, don't just toss it away!

But it was so easy to use... BTW, I've only made on video with Premiere and the rest have been with WMM, so if that's the case then I guess pretty much all my stuff is crap. =P WMM is not a curse to bad videos, people can make decent stuff with it as long as they have some concept to back it up.

I am pretty sure Liquid Petals is not crap my good friend. :) There... you went fishing for compliments and got one! lol

I think I will release all my videos in txt form from this point forward. Editing is just too hard. ;)

Escaflowne Movie video to Some music by that Bach Guy

Okay so first a scene of hitomi fades in with the camera moving around her and then it fades to the sky. ...and boom the music picks up and van flys down and cuts a bunch of people up synced with the strings section of the orchestra. Then with the wind section hitomi fades in and out across the screen and ...

LOL!

Hey did anyone else enter that Direct a Korn Video Contest? I submitted something because well... I think it would be a blast to direct a real music video! :)

ahh.....WMM such Great Memories......back when I thought DBZ was the coolest show around. Back when making an AMV to DBZ with minor edits was the best AMV ever made. Back when making a transition was just a click away. Almost makes me wanna go back :( .

But then again there is Premiere so i'm happy with that.

But still I always did like WMM =)

Hmn.....maybe microsoft should create a version of WMM similiar to Premiere......yea the be nice to see..... :D

Yup but it was really just a practice vid to get used to the Premiere interface. I wasn't fishing for compliments or anything, it just kinda bugs me that people automatically assume because you use WMM, your vid will be total crap. That is not always the case eventhough I do agree that my early stuff is pretty horrid. =P
