What Kind of "AMV" are you currently working on.

This forum is for the general discussion of Anime Music Videos.

oh well in my case I never just work on one AMV at a time I work on about 3 at a time on and off and I work in versions.

Versions: Meaning that when I finish a vid I show it to some of my peers. Get some feedback from them and alot of other ppl then go back and re-do the vid. And thus I keep improving and improving on an existing idea until it becomes exactly what i envisioned it should be. =)

Although the draw-back is that this is a long and tedious process but you know what they say..... "The effort you put in determines what you get out" (or something of that effect :))

Question?: Do you keep your "older verisons" or do you just save over it and keep the newer one alone.

If I always kept my older versions, I'd have so many that it would take up all of my hard drive space! So, I always just save overtop of everything. It helps keep me organized too. :)

I'm working on two Trigun vids, both character profiles of Vash. In my journal, I talk about 'em a lot, so you can read more about them there.

We need more good Trigun vids. (Hopefully, mine will help add to that... hopefully...)

I keep all iterations of project files, but not all the exported videos.

Yes I do keep my older projects and older exported vids. I keep them all for record purposes heh.

Some ppl have actually messaged me asking for the versions of my vids for "collecting" all the versions of some of my vids. heh =)

I am working on an amv with no picture and no sound that pretty much requires no editing.

*looks around*

Good, my ideas are still original. I guess I better release some of my videos before someone else beats me to it, but I keep putting it off.

Me, I'm making a big swinging number, a romantic sentimental, an action trailer and a comedy diddy for now. Guess I like variety.

While I am working on trying to get my videoes to render in MPEG-2 so I can put them on DVD - which means going back and redoing all of them

I am also working on an overly dramatic romantic AMV for Fushigi Yugi and a personal AMV dedicated to how much I love the original El Hazard OAV.

I'm working on figuring out how to make crappy HK DVDs look good. I'm also trying to figure out how to encode 10 episode DVDs into a usable format that doesn't completely obliterate my poor 30 Gig HDD. *sigh*

I'm working on a Sailor Moon video to "Hold On" by Kansas. I don't expect it to ever be done, as i work on it infrequently and when I do work on it, I don't usually get very far. I'm generally dissatisfied with what I produce and often end up doing things over.

I had actually finished an entire verse before I accidentally deleted one or two of the source files. Oh well maybe I'll finish it some day.

Currently i'm working on a Akira amv, i made it like 3 months ago but kind of got side traked with a bunch of other stuff. I have to rededit the vid because now that i think about i have alot of clips in it that have nothing to do with the song or the feel, the song is Science by
System Of A Down
. I'll get it done some day but i just haven't had the urge to just sit in front of the comp and put in the extensive tim i will need to do it, because i'm the kind of person that if i can't get it done all at one ime it probably won't get done at all. But i'm sure with this one you'll see it sometime soon.
