Well, is the guy new to AMV watching? Maybe he thinks it's awesome just because he hasn't seen anything better yet.

When you first start out in something you're much more easily impressed.

He's not new to AMV watching really. He just really likes DBZ and really likes Linkin Park :P

BTW he's also a huge Kenshin fan. Has all the DVDs out thus far. Same thing with Cardcaptor Sakura. He's not purely into DBZ, it's just his second fave (Next to Kenshin)

This is true. I remember the point where videos I used to think were so great began looking really bad to me. That point was incidentally around the time I got into AMVs.

Amen to that. I think it's because you start seeing the "strings", how things were made. Instead of a complete chunk of neat stuff, you can pick out a few techniques or effects or whatever it is.

Even so, now that I know how many things are done, plenty of videos still impress me. Of course.

...but yes, learning what the process is like probably does that. :?
