You know, nothing is lamer than someone who tries to profit from other people's work.

More of these maggots :

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2128639971">Crap head 1</a>

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2128560675">Crap Head 2</a>

Though the second seller is just using the cd to boost the sale of his other product, its still not right in my opinon.

As much as I would like to hit that guy in the face, he isn't doing anything illegal. He doesn't have any ethics for profiting off of someone elses work, but we live in a capitalistic society.

If any of you guys are really pissed, then just leave him some negative feedback

Actually, he is doing something illegal. He's making a profit off of materials he is not legally allowed to distribute. So, we can contact eBay and politely ask them to remove such auctions. :-D

......geez

Ebay is getting some mail from me as we speak. Distributing at cost is sketchy enough when it comes to copyright law....but at least it's fair and can be classified non profit....
but this is really missing out on the point of amv's altogether.

well, like jbone said, there is always the email defense...even if smacking them upside the head would feel a lot better...

I agree. A good kick in the pants would help them as well.

But seriously, those selling amvs should really quit. Its really lame.

Does that mean we can ditribute those "materials" so long as no profit is being made?

I believe you can't.

the guy is selling other peoples work to make money. so if we did that, the answer would be no. Now if we sold our own work on e-bay, like if i sold my steve dies vid and hey vash vid i could do that because i made the vid and and i would b making a profit off of my work. now i look down at the selling of amv's because it is something that should b done for free.
