AX2003 AMV panel invitations (Unable to reach some people)
Although usually I send invitations privately, I am posting this publicly because several emails I sent bounced back.
Furthermore, I'm sorry for taking so long in making this announcement. I'm sure people are sick of stuff about AX by now.
-------------------------
Greetings, fellow AMV creators ^v^
First, let me begin by congratulating everyone on the magnificent music videos that were submitted to Anime Expo 2002. While the contest may have been the disaster of disasters, your videos were masterpieces that even the most unfortunate circumstances could not tarnish.
I would like to congratulate Daniel Araujo (Action), Ian Roberts (Fun), and Anthony Bennett (Drama) for winning the awards for their respective categories, each of which was indeed well earned. As winners, they each are accordingly extended an invitation to be a panelist at the AMV panel at AX2003.
I would also like to note that with all of the hard work that goes into making a music video, there can be unfortunate times when true masterpieces do not get the recognition they deserve. To this, I applaud Jessica Brunelle, whose comedy AMV I myself will admit was far more deserving than my own, and to Kamaran Ahmadi, whose touching AMV showed signifigant technical merit which far too often goes overlooked by the not-so-discerning eye of the audience.
And so... It is with great honor that I also extend invitations to to Jessica Brunelle representing the Comedy category in my stead, and Kamaran Ahmadi as my 'Wildcard' selection.
I have already received replies from Jessica and Daniel, and have yet to receive a reply from Anthony, but emails sent to Kamaran and Ian came back with message errors, thus my reason for posting this publicly. There is no rush (we have a whole year to prepare), but I'd appreciate it if they'd get in contact with me at xstylus@subdimension.com.
Again, I am keeping in mind the fact that a lot can happen between now and AX2003, so while you might say yes today, you might have to say no when June comes around for whatever reason (at times it was questionable whether *I* could make it to the panel). We still have a year to plan for this, but I just want to at least get the right people's correct email addresses for starters, and to confirm their intent of being at the panel.
Best regards to all,
-Troy Williams (XStylus)

apparently Brad DeMoss was considered a "special guest" at the masquerade (sp) which I find to be fucking lame.
