OK, here's the stuff that I've heard from several others who've actually met him:
At this point he's in his mid to late twenties if I recall correctly. He's a computer programmer who last we know of worked for the company who designed the guidance system for the Tomahawk missile (I forget the company's name but that's what they were best known for). His work was classified so you can probably guess what he does. What he does now I have no idea, neither does anyone else really. He first entered videos in I believe AX97 but I could be wrong (I don't recall, does anyone know for sure? Hsien?). He made 12 videos, all of which at one point were available on a VCD. His early videos were done with 2 VCRs or an LD Player and a VCR, however he used a Pinnacle DC30 for all his editing after he went digital in about ~98 (I think Engel was his first digital video, from what I heard he made the switch cause the lipsyncing was insane trying to do it on VCRs, you can see in Beautiful life lipsyncing that was done analog).
That's all I know about him, and I can't give a 100% claim to accuracy on any of it, but I'm not making that s$@% up or anything.
