Okay so here is your TOP 100 AMV's of 2015 list as of December 30th, 2015. How the results were figured out : if a video has 5-9 star ratings in a week it gets a .05, 10 star ratings it got .1 added to it's score, for 20 it got .15, 30 it got .2 and so on.

(So OVERALL star average of the video + number of star ratings received in that week = current ranking.)

Basically this list is based on the star ratings for the technical score and the number of ratings the videos got each week for the most watched score.

This is really cool, thank you for making this list. I do download old videos from here but often I have a hard time finding stuff to watch outside of the announcements thread. Just the other day, I tried watching random AMVs on YouTube, mostly new-ish ones with lots of views that I'd never seen or heard of before. It was a mildly traumatic experience that left me feeling like the entire hobby should just die.

I did not have much time for commentary. I did mention the editors names and the title of the videos. I reminded the audience that they could find the list of the videos here on animemusicvideos.org.

I notice there was no week 1 for 2015 in the star scale ratings and at the time there were some issues going on with the org. They got it fixed for week 2 and after.

I regulary update the list on my facebook page for Samurai Warriors Productions as ratings and new videos come out every week. So if this something you guys would be interested in me also posting here I don't mind copying it over.

What do you set minimum to? It's easy to get one 5 a week and nothing else, so significance can get lost.

A lot of the videos only get 5-9 star ratings a week. I looked at 10 or more and there is maybe only 15 of yhem. Only 3-5 of which are from 2015.

Hey guys I did a panel at Anime Mid Atlantic on the TOP 40 AMV's according to Anime Music Videos. Org Star Scale Ratings. So basically I took the star scale average of the videos and since the beginning of the year I've been keeping track of all the AMV's that have made the the Weekly Star Scale Ranking. So any video created after October 1st 2014 is eligible to be on this list. As those videos in October really did not have too much time to be out.

For each week a video appeared on the Top Star Scale Ranking it got .1 added to its star scale average. This is to show the popularity of a video and how many times it qualified to be on the Star Scale chart.

(So star average + number of weeks = current ranking.)
