Newbie tip

Hi I've decided to try my hand at AMV making but I'm not exactly sure where to start. More specifically where should I get clips? I've bee told I can get them from DVDs but I'm sure how to do that. Also, if there's an anime that's not available on DVD where is a good place to get clips? I will appropriate any advice and resources anyone can provide. Thank you

From what I know, this guide is very helpful for understanding how to get your clips and make sure they're the best quality they can be, while providing downloads to most of the programs and tools you'll need. It's kind of long, but it's definitely worth reading through the whole thing.

One of the easiest ways to get clips is probably searching on youtube for credit-less openings.
