This is the thread where we inflate already massive egos talk about our favorite editors and how they and other people we know in the community have influenced us or have helped us to improve our editing over the years.

Who are some of your favorite editors?

Who here in the community has offered a lot constructive feedback that helped you to improve your editing?

If by community you mean all the AMVWorld... Then those will be Zevs, Trampler, Safira, Creed, Nyala...
And in terms of feedback, AimoAio, El-Tjan, Ikore...
Now if we talk this site as 'the community'... Then I don't have a favorite editor and neither I consider anyone here as a good influence for me

Chiikaboom has always been one of my favorite editors. I can't really say that she has influenced me since our usual editing styles are almost polar opposites, but I remember the day when I first saw her Bellicos AMV over 5 years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s42OGpnBSxM I was so impressed by it that I immediately decided that I was gonna try to step up my game and become a better editor. I think that's when I really became serious about AMV editing.

Two of my favorite editors are Hagaren Viper and Ileia because they're very good at making successful videos with minimal effects if any.

I also really like drewaconclusion because he always comes up with original ideas, and l33tmeatwad because he's a stickler for quality and encourages me to up mine (also I really like his text work).

I could make a huge list of editors which I look up to in a way. There are too many. But if I'd have to name three it'd be Ileia, Kisanzi & umks[z].
