They just post popular videos and they totally credit the original creator :/ (which if you look at just about any entries comments, it shows this)
All jokes aside, I agree with most of the others who have posted here. The majority of the people who have their videos posted on the bestamvsofalltimes channels like it because who really cares who is getting the "views" as long as people are able to see your video and enjoy it. Like Ileia said, a decent amount of subscribers that she gets originally saw her stuff on one of those channels and sought her out to see more. They help more editors than hurt them. In addition to that, it's better for the average viewer that doesn't know about AMVs and what is considered good or bad. You've got incredibly popular channels that are openly promoting and crediting really fantastic AMVs and their editors. Instead of slopping around youtube through hundreds of thousands of terrible vids, you've got a much higher chance of finding some quality AMVs and lots of them.

In my experience it's usually only younger teens that ever think any different. They seem to fail at seeing the bigger picture.

Thats my daily subscriber increases on those channels, daily views is between 240,000 and 280,000. This keeps increasing a lot every month...and it's not like i spam tons of videos to try get loads of views either. Probably by the end of the year it will be over 400,000 daily at this rate.

It's kind of silly to begin with to think it would somehow hurt anybody, or give the impression that the author is somehow missing out on views. it's impossible for anybody else to get near that. I would just do what Okami does and put the videos in a playlist, they might not be uploaded on his channel, but there his views and accomplishments regardless.

Not that am biased but i think it's an awesome thing to be able to get something so much exposure, and it's almost certainly helping grow the amv fandom

I don't care so much about those channels. As long as they don't make money out of my vids (because that's not the purpose of my vids) and link to my .org or YouTube channel I am fine about it.

My last AMV gave me a copyright strike on YouTube. I'm glad that people pick it up and reupload it. Though many people keep asking me about this video and why it's not only. So... reuploading isn't enough. Well anyway: Asking me before uploading would be nice.

However I want subs and views on YT. I like attention and I wish I had more there. I'm just honest with you. Getting feedback (even YT comments) and seeing people care about your work is awesome

It's unavoidable. At least they do the purpose to promote the videos.
But it's really so important? if they generate money at least, then it could probably be a matter for editors. But if not, there's no point. Normally I prefer the conventions where I can interact with the people than YouTube where the only thing I can do is see people's comments (and if I'm lucky enough) talk with them
