He was asking for a website specifically to use for an indirect link. That means he's already using this site, he just doesn't want to use the local server for whatever reason.

I get exposure because of this site... People come here, download my video, then go to youtube and post on a channel that is (often times) far more popular than my own. |:>

Exactly why I prefer to not upload them to the local server and prefer to host them on an outside site where people can't download them and do that.
I can't stand weeaboos and people who keep badmouthing dubbed anime and say it sucks.

Almost all the time, though, people will give credit to you and link back to your YouTube or whatever. As long as people are watching my videos, I don't really care who re-uploads it.

If you think uploading your vid to another third party source it will be more "safer" you're poorly mistaken. It's not hard at all to rip a video from a website that allows you to view it even without a download link.

You're honestly better off uploading here even if its just to get your video out more cause it doesn't matter, once its on the internet your control is for the most part limited or lost.

If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Some people are extremely naive if they think you can't download a video from youtube....

If your work is good enough that someone wants to download it and post it somewhere else, you should be pleased with that, it's a huge compliment. This is the internet, trying to restrict where your stuff goes tends to accomplish little more than waste your time. Accept it and take measures to ensure you get credit, like a bug in the corner or bumpers of some sort.

Most of my AMVs exceed the 100 MB upload limit anyway, so even if I wanted to, I can't.

"Starting now, the new limit is 150M (up from 100M)!
As a bonus, donators who donate at least $12 a year have that limit doubled to a super-sized limit of 300M."

Just ask for help in the compression section of the forums. Its not hard even to get an HD amv under 150mb. The community here has changed alot for the better imho, I'm sure someone would help if you just ask. There are also guides.
