Considering dub step is extremly dull, editors can cover their lack of skill to include emotion and atmosphere.

As a fan of most electronic music I do enjoy the occasional dubstep song, but I can see how people can get burned out on it real quick. That's why I keep a safe distance and only pick and choose a couple favorites for repeated listening. The same applies for Dubstep AMV viewing.

Just think of it as the popular trend of electronic music sweeping in, as indicated in this flowchart of music trends in the last 10 years of popular AMV electronic genres:

House Techno -> Assorted DDR Techno -> Drum & Bass (Mainly Pendulum Songs) -> Trance -> Dubstep -> ???

Considering that I've thrust myself into multiple contests that require me to edit, I can safely say "yes".
