I hate to come off as the bitchy chick, but there really is a lot of fanservice out there for chicks, it's a shame you didn't include a female's point of view.

Maybe it doesn't come off as in your face because men are allowed to run around topless without much dramas... but females still eat that stuff up.

Not to mention the gaggle of Shojo and Reverse Harem animes out there.

I might do a female-centered fanservice panel in the future. It'll probably be a while though, because I've got quite a nice backlog of interviews to supply me through March now.

You could probably expand that into Yuri, or "Incest" type animes. I think most people who watch yaoi, also watch these.. or so I have found myself, and with some of my friends. Its easier to drift into them once you've watched one type.

I always thought "fanservice" meant putting things in an anime/video game that were requested by the fans themselves.

Then again, maybe they just always requested panty shots...

It's not that I think that there needs to be an entire counter panel, it just feels like this one was fairly limited, and didn't get fleshed out. As Judge said Fanservice isn't just about bewb and panty shots, its about servicing the fans.

Edit besides some girls don't like shounen-ai/yaoi... but how many girls do I know who are into Bleach/Naruto/Death Note because they like the characters/there's tons of pretty boys in it. Granted many of those girls will also yaoi-ize said shows as well >.>
