Well, I've always thought that a criticism can be good... That depends on how I (the author) to receive the views ... in this community, I received a lot of harsh criticism, insults and sometimes despised my work (AMVs)... but most of these things helped me to improve.

Constructive criticism is very good, but also being trampled by the comments of others, helps you be less pretentious and more humble when announcing a AMV.

This is simply a hobby, I'm going to die by bad reviews.

Not everyone has the skills, but everyone is a critic. I think one of the biggest things people should learn is how to TAKE criticism...which is a hard thing to learn. Even with badly written crits or just "you suck" statements, instead of getting butthurt, find out why. I've only had a few negative comments on some of my vids that were "you suck" type comments, and I always asked "yeah? what would you have done differently?" It's all in how you approach it.

Agreed... I think it will also come down to experience. After a certain while, you eventually know already how people are going to react and you just keep your video the way it is because it's the way you wanted or knew you can make.

I don't think it's just about the time you have been doing the hobby on how you can take crit. My first review was flaming and pretty much called me names for some of the choices I made however instead of getting pissed at some of the things said, I sifted through the insults and found what I could actually use.

...I wanna to be like you guys when I grow up.

...by grow up, I mean when I'm thirty.

I used to ghost around here for years, but I'll be posting a vid or two to get gutted soon. Hopefully I get one of them fancy reviews if I earn it.

Shitsux x 20 probably means I should sink another 30 hours into the vid.

And/or stops you from announcing them to that community. I won't lie, the early years were brutal, with rarely ever recieveing Constructive Criticism. The much recieved tramplings can also cause a backlash effect, and I am ashamed that at one time, it caused me to do trampling, just before I left the org years ago.

There is a big difference between a Bad Review and Trampling someone.

I am not a sugar coater, nor am I a shit flinging monkey. I know we live in a world where even 'fact' has shades of grey, "truth is in the eye of the beholder". And so I do my best to construct good/bad segments accordingly. I do go downto the timecode detail level as to point out things that they should watch for in the future, as I appreciate this.

I always have a certain situation:

In many amvs I have watched (example, Vortex) I dont like the music... but I dont count that when I review it. If the video edition is the proper one, it will be ok
