I'd love to collab with somebody that's got a completely different editing style than me. Somebody like Sanchez, Arashimone, TwilightCrono or Kevmaster. And for a real kick, swap editing styles for a real challenge.

But who I'd really like to do a collab with is Re-Evo studios, I've always wanted to do something completely fun and mindless and sparkly.

I'd like to add:
qyll (I'm always excited to something released from him.)
Osnar (makes very beautiful amvs.)
Nessephanie (seen some of the best romance and drama amvs come from her.)
Unlimited_Rice (very good with editing rap, but is also very diverse)
Undeadborn (made possibly the best ff video ever, imo, and have enjoyed his other works.)
Silk_SK (god I love his trailers. already mentioned? oh well.)

A loooot of editors that are currently editing are so very diverse and unique with their amvs that it's hard to name them all.

Megamom
This should require no explanation.

Unlimited Rice
Doesn't know how to make a video that isn't completely solid.

fallout161
These days, completely unknown, but in his day made some really insanely good AMVs.

Pwolf
One of the only editors that can constantly use crossfades and make them look good.

Koopiskeva
For the legacy.

I don't know about favorite, but there are certain editors I will at least watch pretty much any amv they make.
Otohiko - Some of his suck, but even then they suck in an interesting way
Fallchild - Usually worth at least a watch, when he's not being a troll. Or perhaps ESPECIALLY when he's being a troll.
dokidoki - always fun
koop - high marks for quality, even though I usually don't like the genres he edits in
Ileia - Well, almost anything. I've seen her action vid years ago, I don't need to see it yet again. But for non-action stuff she's usually interesting.
Kenzichu - I've betaed all her videos I think. If not, it's pretty close to all of them. So of course I'll watch anything she makes, I'll probably be betaing it. But I do actually like her editing style.
Myself - Seriously. I'm the best god damned editor around here, why wouldn't I want to make a video with myself? I could do half of it, email it to myself, then let me do the other half.

As for collab, I'm fortunately in that I actually have done a project with most of the people I'd want to. About half of the editors in Conet would have been in my wish to collab with someday list. Although that was a MEP rather than collab, but still pretty close.

I like Ileia. I also like her significant copycat about as much. Hell, I like all the stuff my studio produces. And I really like the stuff I make myself.

I'm also a fan of doki and a number of RDS peoples. I like a number of Russian editors, both currently active (Aggressor, Bonefixer) and not-active-anymore (Pokich, UKMS-Z). I'm also a fan of a couple of Finnish editors, including FoxJones and Janzki.

As far as people I'd collab with, I think favourite-ness isn't exactly the measure of working compatibility, although that doesn't mean there's not a fair amount of overlap. Collab-wise, I'd say everyone I seriously collabed with I would be happy to work with again. In that, notable mentions would have to include the Canadian chapter of CDVV, godix, jasper-isis and even Orwell, with all of whom I worked on more than one project (even if often it was a sort of editor vs. beta-tester relationship). I'm happy to work with other people, if the working relationship proves good, productive and enjoyable. My work with Jasper on MEPs and then collab is probably my favourite out of that so far, mostly cause she's an editor with a really different approach from my own, but not one that's incompatible - and I trust her editing intuitions slightly more than mine, but not enough to shut down my own creative and critical thinking or make the workload between two editors totally unbalanced. So it really makes the whole process pretty enjoyable (which I can rarely say about my solitary editing - love the results, not so much the process).

It's harder to find editors that you can really work with productively than editors whose work you like.

Oh, we were suppose to also mention who we'd like to collab with? I missed that question XD

Anyway, any one of my favorite editors would be great to collab with. I've even talked with Arashinome, Castor and Kurai78 (a favorite editor and friend of mine I neglected to mention earlier) about such projects on separate occasions.

The problem is, we have no idea what we could do |:

I don't think I could ever do a collab with someone without thinking i'm pushing all the hard work onto them. I can't picture that ending well... =/

These are some of my favourite editors:

Cross/fade
This guy has some really great ideas and you can see how he's improving all of the time. Plus, he's a real cool guy to hang out with.

Copycat_Revolver
Love him for his fun, quirky style. And text. Can't forget about text.

Aggressor
I'm in awe how he can make so many different types of videos, yet every single one of them is enjoyable.

AquaSky & dokidoki
Love the great sense of humour these guys have.

As for who I'd collab with? Still would love to collab with Beo. Also, Macchinainterna, ReggieSmalls, already collabed with ExSphere and Reda. Would do so again. I'd love to collab with Qyll or CrackTheSky, I think that would make for some interesting shit. 8-)

Oh, also, UnlimitedRice. We've been planning a collab for a long fucking time...just havn't gotten to it D:

I would love to do a collab with Enigma, Reda, LittleAtari and ExSphere. I'm already in the middle of one with Joey and Jwalk

If I had to pick a favorite, I think I'd have to go with shadowNOS (especially his works prior to 2008). I like how he syncs to how the lyrics are spoken and not necessarily to what is spoken. It's refreshing to see something synced well that isn't done to just the beats.

Also, Tsunami Jones for his unique style
I wanted to go with, "style that's like the deformed fish stick of the amv world that everyone looks at kinda funny and then someone eats it", but people might not take that as the compliment it's supposed to be
