Why make a video with such a recent episode in it? Just to get the bragging rights that you did the first "Kakashi vs. Pain" video (of what's sure to eventually be dozens/hundreds)? Whatever happened to spending time with a series and coming up with ideas a little more interesting than "a vs. b"?

I did use naruto at one point in my editing. I made a hilarious video with "Bad Girlfriend" and Naruto's Sexy Jutsu/Jiraiya. The editing actually wasn't that bad if i remember correctly and because the song was new it had gotten like 4,000 views. Youtube finally found it though once it reached 6,000 and i lost the video for good. Best thing to do is to backup your files. Always back them up. I learned that the hard way lol

Thats cuz no one watches ur vids |: Not even youtube. :awesome:

Actually I'm pretty sure it's random. Accounts like shinnie04 have uploaded tons of copyrighted stuff, have thousands of subscribers, and haven't been banned.

Most likley its random, since it is a bot that removed video, not a human[:
Now people are starting to mirror their anime so the bots dont pick it up
and they have been pitching their songs (i personally do this)

With all the copyright matches on my amv channel I'm apparently still "in good standing" according to their Account Status regarding copyright. Maybe because I've never tried the "fair use" battle with them and just accepted my muted audio? My first channel has a strike against it due to an amv though... (which is why I made the second channel)

Tell that to WMG and the DMCA. lol I've been taken down several times due to audio. Adding a bump at the beginning however, will disrupt that. For some reason im rarely taken down anymore....Lucky me? XD

Huh, I've never been taken down for audio and I've used songs from all the major companies that put copyright claims on the audio.

Perhaps its random then? It might make it easier to avoid if we could figure out exactly how their take-down system works... :book:

Companies have people or programs that check YT finds - easy as that.

Maybe it depends on the artist/management of said artist? I've only ever had strikes for the video footage, but have had plenty of videos disabled for the audio, (all, of course, being WMG). Then again, I've had many videos come back because they've changed their minds, then removed again. >_> It's a love/hate relationship there. But perhaps it is just luck that I've only been caught for video...*knocks on wood*.

It's hard mode though. Because knowingly misrepresenting yourself by filing a false DMCA claim is a felony.
