For a 20 second clip I dunno why its so popular and I get PMed about once a week asking when/if I'm going to finish it.

You should be able to stream these from our server if you have a player that supports it.

No FX simple clean fast paced fun vid (The intro has FX but I was gonna delete it since it looked ugly and either just have a mask or leave the scene alone) I got a corrupted project file on my laptop that I can't do nothing with anymore. Refuses to open and I've tried everything. Technically I could remake it fairly easily since its all just cuts and maybe some screen motion other than that nothing. My attention span is too short to have to redo it all again and finish it sadly.

Wafflez was unable to get me to finish this vid even though he bothered me about it all the times
and later on when I thought about trying to finish it... Low and behold another corrupt project file. My laptop was horrendous about this. It was kind of an AMV with a Visual Novel theme to it, different storyline than what the source was.
There are others but those are the only two I have to show sadly. Others are completely lost. I regret not finishing every vid I start cause there is nothing to lose by finishing them, but there is alot to lose by not finishing them. I also regret having a damn short attention span and getting easily bored of a project. Won't edit unless I want to cause forcing yourself to edit isn't exactly good for results or a better alternative for that matter.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

I start and scrap a lot of projects ... Then I go back to them and revamp the idea. Disco Heaven and Out to Save the World where, at one point, both "scrapped projects".

Re: Videos You Regret Not Finishing
I have a shit ton of vids I started back when I started editing in 2007.....I'm going to actually try making 2 of them....and this is a canceled project I started my first year. This isn't the full beta.....just the intro...multiple anime. It is about fond memories caught on camera with friends....the main story within the vid involved
2 characters from monte cristo. HD died in 09 and killed everything....I had a lot planned. It's called Fragments.

Re: Videos You Regret Not Finishing
4 videos between 2005 and 2011.
1) In 2005 there's my ROS2 track that I never finished (I think that was 2005). I was really excited to do it and I had a cool vision for what I wanted to do. I never really got to do what I wanted though because of whatever. Just wasn't turning out right so I eventually got burned out trying to get it to work. I come back to it and watch it from time to time wondering what it would've been like if I had finished it but that was 7 years ago now so oh well. I had done a bit of a hack job on my ROS1 track so I wanted to do something good this time around.

2) In 2006 I started a Cowboy Bebop video but only ever edited the end of it. It was more or less an experiment in using different colored fades. If you watch the video, I do a fair amount of fading to the beat but the ones with Spike I used a white background and the ones in black are the baddies. There's one part at about 10 seconds where I did some fiddling to get the left side white and the right side black to match which character was there. I've attempted to come back to this video several times over the years but never went really far with it. Eventually I'll come back to it I guess but not anytime soon.

3) Another video I started in 2006 was to Ghost in the Shell. I was trying to go for something moody. About 50 seconds in it falls apart though and I do some crappy editing. I think that decision really turned me off from finishing it because it was a really bad idea. I liked where I was going with it though so it's another one of those videos I look back on and wonder if I should start it up again.

4) So lets skip 4-5 years. I semi-started a video using Full Metal Panic. It would be another drama/romance video similar to This Time but much less on the action. I ripped all my sources, I edited the song I was using to work the way I wanted. I only ever placed maybe 5 clips on the timeline. I experimented with different styles to try and get the look and feel just right but I lost all motivation to edit it. I really like the song and I really want to see a video to it but I just can't do it. The project and all the files sat on my hard drive for a long time. I only recently deleted the project. I have asked several other editors if they'd be willing to edit the video but none of taken up the challenge yet. I think about going back to it a lot. Unfortunately, no video of this one.

My Sportscenter AMV from 2004-2005...it was going to be my tombstone video. I'll try and find a link to it later.
I also had a cool looking Violence Jack AMV I started around 2002-2003 that had some promise but I never finished it.

Re: Videos You Regret Not Finishing
I have several ideas I've not even started on that have been swept under a rug, but only one that I started and gave up on. I don't regret it because it was really lame and yeah, I should have never started it in the first place.

Re: Videos You Regret Not Finishing
the first thing I wanted to do was the entirety of The Downward Spiral, kinda like The Eva Wall, just with different animes. I did like, 2 or 3 of them, but then kinda dropped it
I've always thought this was an awesome intro though, and wish I could have used it
