Well, premiere just isn't recognizing avs at all. And I thought that avmapp that I downloaded had the plug-in that I needed. I don't know if there's anything else I need to do or what that is.

I'm still not sure exactly what I did, but I got the DVD in all avi files and was able to import those. Don't know if that's good or not.

And thanks for the image you added, find_the_dwarf. It always helps to see things--but yeah, it's just not recognizing the avi files.

Lol, quiet you. :P

Try uninstalling the AMVapp and then reinstalling it. If you want to do method 2. If not, you might be able to keep editing the way you're doing it now... if you can edit how it is, with the .avis.

Yes, you should. Does it display a red error message on black, or what?

(I actually have "play in WMP" set as the double-click action for my AVS files.)

Okay, that's not a problem with WMP, it's a problem with your AVS file. Usually when I get that error, it means I've typed something wrong somewhere and need to fix it, but it could mean a whole bunch of things...

No, that looks good, assuming you've got the mpeg2dec plugin.
