Why does it have to be that extreme? If I make a video that I'm proud of, then I'd want people to see it. There's nothing wrong with desiring a little bit of recognition for your efforts. Who says it has to go as far as seeking "noob worship" and extreme popularity, trolling for awards, or gaming the system?

I think this reaction right here makes a strong case for Godix bringing his avatar back.

Sure. At least I look forward to release a few videos for local cons. I´m a guest of some of them too.

Anyway I do try to release something under the rest of the year, but usualy in september I release two vids due to cons. It´s just that under the rest of the year I have a job or I´m studying. That means that I don´t have a lot of energy after a hard day.

I wouldn't flip off Jasper. She's female and the proper way to treat females on the internet is gushing fanboyism so that for once in our miserable lives we might have a woman who likes us. That way we can hold out the fantasy that if we ever met them in real life we would get laid. Pathetic I know, but that's computer nerds for ya. So if I flipped off Jasper I'd lose my fantasies and have to jack off to mental images of Otohiko or Koop or something. Don't make me piss off Jasper, I don't want to turn gay.

I hope no one comes to the ORG thinking that AMV making well make there name
a house hold word or have an army of fan girls at there disposal. I make stuff, I even have
it show at cons on the big screen. Even then people support the video and don't usally hunt
the creators down and thank them in person. If they did that I'd probally die from embrassment
anyway. Getting back to the topic at hand most of us are to busy to release watchable videos
at the rate we used to so we have to save all our chips for con season.

He (sarcastically) hinted at a general attitude that people have around here, and I replied seriously (and directly) to that idea.  We're both perfectly aware of what we're talking about.

Is sarcasm the only pill that people can swallow these days?  Okay then, let me revise my earlier comment:

Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of desiring such celebrity.  I never accept praise without talking about how it's completely unwarranted or unnecessary.  Every time I get a positive opinion or QC, I flame and ban the idiot member who gave it to me.  If I win an award, I'll call it crap because being deemed good at something by others is obviously a joke.  I meditate every day to purge myself of the filth that is goodwill.  I don't eat because the only nourishment I need is self-satisfaction.  I don't CARE what anyone else thinks.  I haven't actually made a video in years, but it's okay as long as I'm not giving up my precious INTEGRITY.
