New newbie entering/upload guide proofread

Post by Nya-chan Production » Sat May 01, 2010 9:34 pm

http://wolfii.own.cz/orgguide/

First 16 pages up now, covering complete entering of the video to the video catalog.

Plan to add:

- uploading
- menu on left
- more space on bottom

For now I need someone to read it and point out any places that might confuse new users using this in future, as I can't abstract from using Org for years.
Thanks for any feedback ;x

Hey, that looks just fine. I can't imagine someone having any kind of problems with that walk through the web's main pages. The highlights are vital for finding something in the whole web and very helpful.

Nicely done so far

The only possible issue is that it is too big for some monitors and a noob may not realize there's text under the pictures. You might want to flip the picture/text so they read what to do then see a picture of it. OTOH, if someone is on the net and hasn't figured out how to scroll on websites yet, then it's rather questionable if there's any way to help them at all to begin with.

I agree with the flipping, having it on top will draw attention to it. To be honest, with how small the text is on the bottom, I didn't even notice it at first glance (also once I found it I kept trying to scroll down because I thought there'd be more)

I'll make the text larger and flip it, then, thanks for the insight :>

ToraDora! is actually named ToraDora! now, not Tiger x Dragon anymore. Remind that titles starting with the are generally listed as "Rest of the Title, The" (ie: "Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, The (TV)").

Page 5 wrote:The other stuff is coplementary, but for better response, you want to write something - too short information tend to be overlooked and proper genres and technical details checked can help viewers to decide on downloading your video.
Is this a typo? It looks like complementary, but I'm not sure if that word actually applies in this case.

It would also be less confusing if page 16 didn't have a working next button until the uploading guide is actually online.
